Department of Civil Engineering

The students, who enroll in this department, are educated and trained to be become well-rounded engineers with deep knowledge and understanding in the field of civil engineering in association with moral characters.
In particular, the students of this department will be taught a wide range of specialist knowledge in civil engineering from management construction project to foundation engineering, and structural engineering. Moreover, such specialist knowledge is always up to date for the students, to facilitate their pursuit on postgraduate education as well as engaging a global workforce.
As a result, students graduated from the department of civil engineering have promising career paths with a diverse workplace, e.g., designing engineers at structural and foundation designing firms, site engineers at construction sites and management of construction project, or pursue further education either domestically or internationally.
