THE PROGRAM
Architectural and Urban Design is a specialized field of study focusing on the organization, design, and management of architectural spaces within urban environments, aiming to create comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable living environments through the interaction between buildings, landscapes, and people. At Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), the program offers a comprehensive development path, where students are guided by experienced lecturers who graduated from overseas universities in a dynamic international environment. Beyond theoretical knowledge of building design and urban planning, students will master advanced graphic design software, be at the forefront of AI application in creativity, and directly participate in real-world projects and scientific research. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Students in Architectural and Urban Design are equipped with a comprehensive system of architectural knowledge and skills, from understanding and applying science and technology to the design of spatial forms and building structures to organizing landscapes and sustainable urban planning. Students not only master modern technical tools such as BIM, GIS, and specialized visualization software for project planning and evaluation, but also possess the ability to conduct multi-dimensional analysis of the impact of the environment, culture, and society on urban structures. In particular, the program emphasizes cultivating humanistic design thinking, helping architects act as mediators between aesthetic interests and land use realities, thereby making architectural planning decisions that both comply with regulations and promote regional identity and economic development.
