RESEARCH INTERESTS

  • Investigate the effectiveness of using ECC in ferrocement to enhance mechanical properties and crack width control.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of U-shaped UHPC jackets for retrofitting damaged columns in seismic zones by comparing their seismic performance to traditional retrofitting methods, based on both experimental and numerical results.
  • Study the impact of fiber distribution and mechanical anisotropy on UHPC’s performance using X-ray CT for optimization.
  • Explore the use of UHPC jacketing or overlays for retrofitting masonry infilled frames to enhance seismic resilience through experimental and numerical analysis.
