TDTU Architecture Students Officially Set Off to Conquer the 15th National Architecture Student Festival – 2026

The 15th National Architecture Student Festival will take place from April 15 to April 19, 2026 at Vietnam-Germany University. This is a nationwide academic and creative event, bringing together architecture students from universities and academies across the country to exchange ideas, compete, and share new perspectives on the future of architecture.

This year, the Festival carries the theme “Architecture in the Age of Technology – Archinnovation,” emphasizing the increasingly profound role of technology in shaping design thinking and architectural practice. From artificial intelligence and digital simulation to smart materials and sustainable thinking, architecture is no longer merely about form and aesthetics, but is evolving into an integrated ecosystem of creativity, technology, and social responsibility. This theme opens opportunities for students to explore new design methodologies while raising critical questions about identity, humanity, and the core values of architecture in the context of digital transformation.

Representing Ton Duc Thang University, the Architecture Division has selected 25 outstanding students, guided by young lecturers including M.Arch. Pham Duc Long, M.Arch. Ly Cong Minh, and Arch. Vo Nguyen Thanh Nhan. The team will compete in various categories, including Rapid Design A8, Rapid Design B, Graphic Design, and Sketching.

In addition to the competitions, the Festival serves as an open academic space where students can connect, exchange knowledge, and engage with contemporary architectural trends. It is also an opportunity for TDTU students to demonstrate their professional competence, creative thinking, and confidence in a competitive and globally integrated environment.

Participation in the National Architecture Student Festival has always been a key activity highly valued by Ton Duc Thang University, with careful selection and nomination of outstanding students to represent the institution. Through previous editions, TDTU students have continuously affirmed their position by achieving impressive results, particularly in major categories such as Rapid Design A, Rapid Design B, and Sketching. These achievements not only reflect a strong academic foundation but also demonstrate creativity, adaptability, and resilience in highly competitive academic environments.

Building on these accomplishments, this year’s delegation has undergone more thorough and comprehensive preparation, both professionally and mentally. From practicing rapid design skills and developing conceptual thinking to enhancing graphic representation and teamwork abilities, all aspects have been carefully and systematically invested in. This preparation aims to achieve even greater results at the Festival while continuing to affirm the identity and standing of TDTU students within the national architecture student community.
