SEMINAR ON "ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES IN CONSTRUCTION: PRECAST CONCRETE STRUCTURES AND PRE-BORED PRECAST CONCRETE PILE FOUNDATIONS "

On the May 8th, 2026, the Faculty of Civil Engineering (Ton Duc Thang University -TDTU) organized a technical seminar titled "Advanced Technologies in Construction: Precast Concrete Structures and pre-bored precast concrete pile foundations " at the Tan Hung campus

During the seminar, Mr. Tran Nguyen Cong Danh – Deputy Director of the Technology and Engineering Department at Phan Vu Company – presented the solution of pre-bored precast concrete pile foundations. The advantages of preboring technology compared to traditional pile foundation methods were thoroughly discussed.

Next, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoang presented precast concrete solutions as a breakthrough in Phan Vu Group’s product diversification strategy. The advantages of prestressed hollow-core concrete slabs for industrial buildings and high-rise developments were presented. In the future, precast concrete can be a solution to addressing labor shortages and can promote the sustainable transformation of the construction sector.
