TDTU Students Recognized at the Loa Thanh Awards 2025
On the morning of November 21, 2025, the 37th Loa Thanh Awards Ceremony - 2025 took place at the Temple of Literature - Imperial Academy, Dong Da District, Hanoi. Considered one of the most prestigious annual awards honoring outstanding graduation projects in the fields of construction, architecture, and planning in Vietnam, the Loa Thành Awards are co-organized by four key institutions: the Vietnam Association of Architects, the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Associations, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, and the Ministry of Construction.
This year, the Architecture – Urban Planning category of the Loa Thành Awards honored a total of 2 First Prizes, 9 Second Prizes, 15 Third Prizes, and 15 Encouragement Prizes, selected from 185 excellent graduation projects submitted by 26 universities nationwide. Notably, students from Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) achieved remarkable results with two distinguished accomplishments:
Student Phan Thi Hong Tram, majoring in Urban and Regional Planning, excellently won a Second Prize with her project titled “Landscape Design of Con Chim Biodiversity Conservation Area, Phuoc Son Commune, Tuy Phuoc District, Binh Dinh Province”, supervised by Dr. Arch. Le Hoang Nam. Throughout her studies, Hong Tram consistently demonstrated outstanding academic performance and was the highest-ranking student in the September 2024 graduation defense session.
The next achievement was recorded by student Vo Nguyen Thanh Nhan, majoring in Architecture, who was honored with an Encouragement Prize for the project titled “Design of Ho Chi Minh City Psychological and Mental Health Rehabilitation Hospital”, supervised by Dr. Arch. Vo Hoang Khanh. Thanh Nhan is recognized for maintaining a consistently strong academic record and ranking among the top performers in the cohort. In September 2024, she successfully completed her studies on schedule and achieved the highest score in that graduation defense session.
Once again, the Faculty and the University extend heartfelt congratulations to the two new graduates, our young architects, who have contributed to strengthening TDTU’s standing at the Loa Thanh Awards, a prestigious award with more than 30 years of history, recognizing the nation’s finest graduation projects. These achievements reaffirm the creativity, dedication, and professional competence of TDTU students, further establishing the university as a reputable institution in architectural and planning education with a strong presence on the national stage
