Student Thibaud Dullin – ENTPE Lyon (France) Internship at the Faculty of Civil Engineering – TDTU from April 18, 2025 to August 8, 2025
From April 15 to August 8, 2025, Thibaud Dullin, a student from ENTPE Lyon (France), successfully completed his internship and research at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the Construction Engineering Program, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
Under the supervision of Dr. Bui Quoc Bao at the Tan Phong campus, Thibaud focused on the research topic “Explanatory Sheet for the Python Program – Excel Processing,” which involved developing documentation for Python-based processing of Excel data for engineering analyses.
Thibaud Dullin is working under the supervision of Dr. Bùi Quốc Bảo at the Tân Phong campus.
He also collaborated with the faculty research group to advance his work on thermal analysis and computation of physical properties, aiming to assess the thermal performance of construction materials under real environmental conditions. The program processes laboratory and meteorological data to compute key thermal indicators, such as thermal conductivity, surface heat flux, thermal resistance, and convective heat transfer coefficient, providing a comprehensive evaluation of material performance over time.
At the conclusion of his internship, the Construction Engineering Program, on behalf of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, awarded Thibaud a Certificate of Internship Completion, recognizing his academic dedication, research contributions, and active engagement as an international student.
Certificate of Completion certifying that Thibaud Dullin has successfully completed the internship program at TDTU.
Thibaud Dullin’s internship and research activities have produced valuable scientific outcomes in the fields of thermal computation and technical data processing, while also strengthening international collaboration between TDTU and its French research partners. The close cooperation between the student, supervising professor, and research team highlights the potential for developing practical applied research projects in construction engineering. This experience has significantly enhanced the academic and professional capabilities of both the student and the faculty, exemplifying the critical role of international student exchange programs in broadening perspectives, improving skills, and building a sustainable foundation for future growth.
