Seminar on “application of bim 5d – cubicost in quantity take-off, quantity management and project cost control”
On the morning of 28 November 2025, the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Ton Duc Thang University, organised a specialised seminar entitled “Application of BIM 5D – Cubicost in Quantity Take-off, Quantity Management and Project Cost Control” at the Tan Hung Campus.

The keynote speaker of the seminar was Mr. Nguyen Duc Loc, Sales Director of Glodon Vietnam Co., Ltd. He presented a digital cost management solution spanning the entire project life cycle using the BIM 5D Cubicost software. The value of Cubicost is highlighted in several key aspects: controlling information right from the BIM model creation stage, ensuring high-quality and accurate cost data, and intelligently supporting auditing and control of variations. Finally, Mr. Nguyen Duc Loc shared the step-by-step process of developing a Cubicost quantity model based on a real project. With the support of Cubicost, quantity information is standardised and remains consistent throughout all stages of the project, from tendering to construction, supported by an intuitive 3D environment that enables rapid and accurate updates of design changes.
