Serminar: Sustainable Buildings – Case studies in Vietnam

With the aim of creating favorable conditions for students to approach the worldwide trends in civil engineering (specifically eco-friendly buildings), Faculty of Civil Engineering along with enterprises (e.g. Green Viet, An Phong, Coteccons) organized a seminar named “Sustainable Buildings – Case Studies in Viet Nam” on April 23rd, 2022 at Ton Duc Thang University.

Seminar speakers including:

1. Mrs. NGUYEN THI PHUONG THU, chief executive officer of Green Viet Company;

2. Mr. DO HUU NHAT QUANG, development manager of Green Viet Company;

3. Mr. HUYNH VAN VIEN, construction project manager of REE Corp.

Participants in the seminar consist of Dr. Tran Minh Tung, Dean of Faculty of Civil Engineering, faculty members, students, and engineers from An Phong Construction Company, Central Construction Joint Stock Company, Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company.

In the seminar, speakers shared their knowledge of designing environmentally friendly buildings to satisfy international criteria. The seminar with interesting topic attracted plenty participants from various organizations. This activity provided the valuable information as well as priceless knowledge to audiences especially students from Ton Duc Thang University.

Therefore, Faculty of Civil Engineering and partner organizations decided to coordinate and organize more activities like this seminar in order to create more opportunities for students to meet, discuss, and learn from enterprises.
