Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing Ceremony between the Faculty of Civil Engineering (TDTU,Vietnam) and the I-SOC Center (Dong-A University, Korea).

On the morning of July 30, 2022, at TDTU campus a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing Ceremony took place between the Faculty of Civil Engineering (TDTU-Vietnam) and the Center for ICT Integrated Safe Ocean Smart City (I-SOC) affiliated to Dong-A University (Korea).

The I-SOC Center is the award recipient of the BK21 program (Brain Korea 21), a development fund under the Korean Ministry of Education, to build a world-class marine smart city complex disaster prevention personnel training and research group using cutting-edge ICT technology to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Through working session, the two sides had the opportunity to introduce the development history as well as professional capacity to seek deeper and broader cooperation possibilities in the future. Areas of discussion include the possibility of expanding dual degree programs, student and faculty members exchanges, research collaborations and the organization of international scientific conferences.

Partners from the I-SOC Institute also offer graduate scholarship opportunities for qualified candidates interested in one of the following fields: Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Engineering Environmental, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Structural Materials and Analysis, Tidal Wave Analysis, Ocean Disaster Risk Management and other related courses.
